Department of Zoology, Government College for Women (A), Guntur
The Department of Zoology established in 1942
aims to train the students in wide range of science based skills that provide
knowledge in disciplines like Aqua Culture, Fisheries, environmental
management, microbiology and biotechnology. Syllabi for the courses are as
approved by the Academic Council and Acharya Nagarujuna University, Guntur.

Department:
The department offers multi-disciplinary 3 year
undergraduate courses in Zoology with Microbiology, Biotechnology and Bio
chemistry in Choice Based Credit System(CBCS). The
department also offers general elective in Vermiculture
and Certificate Course in Aquarium
